New Delhi:
A few days after announcing his break from acting, Vikrant Massey returned to the film sets. She was seen shooting in Dehradun with Sanjay Kapoor’s daughter Shanaya Kapoor for their upcoming film Aankhon Ki Gustakhiyan. In a video shared by a paparazzo, Vikrant Massey can be seen meeting Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami. They are seen shaking hands and talking. Shanaya Kapoor can also be seen in winter dress in the video. According to reports, the film is directed by Santosh Singh and produced by Mansi and Varun Bagla.
Vikrant Massey set the Internet abuzz with speculation early on Monday with his Instagram post as he wrote that he is going to meet fans for the “last time” in 2025. A day later, the 12th Fail star released a statement clarifying that she meant a “longer break” and that’s it. I am not going to retire from acting. “Acting is all I can do. And it has given me everything I have. My physical and mental health has taken a toll. I just want to take some time off, get better at my art.” I feel monotonous at the moment,” Vikrant Massey said on Tuesday, adding, “My post was misinterpreted as me quitting acting or retiring. I want to take some time off to focus on my family and health. I will come back when the time is right.”
Vikrant Massey wrote on Instagram, “The last few years and the years since have been phenomenal. I thank you all for your undying support. But as I move forward, I realize that now is the time.” Let us work again and go back home as a husband, as a father and as an actor.”
He further added, “So come 2025, we will meet each other for the last time. Until the time feels right. The memories of the last 2 films and many years. Thank you again. For everything and everything in between. For.” He added “forever indebted” at the end of the note. According to reports, Vikrant is currently shooting for two films – Yaar Jigri and Aankhon Ki Gustakhiyan. To keep an eye:
Soon after his surprise post, the actor attended a special screening of his latest offering The Sabarmati Report at the Parliament Library with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other ministers last night. Sharing his joy, Vikrant Massey told the media, “Personally, getting the opportunity to watch the Sabarmati report with the Prime Minister of our country is the highest point of my career.” When the actor was asked about his decision to retire, he left without answering the question.
