Ananya Panday’s sister Riyasa recently debuted at Le Bal des In Paris. His parents Chunky and Bhavana Pandey also attended the event. Before making her acting debut, Ananya had also walked the prestigious carpet of the Debutante Ball almost eight years ago. On Sunday, Chunky recalled the time when Ananya attended the event and how it became the event “where it all started” for him. Chunky shared a throwback video of Ananya’s debut at Le Bal des Beaux-Arts, showcasing a collection of all the amazing moments they enjoyed together in Paris.
In the caption, Chunky wrote, “Flashback Le Bal Paris 2017. Where it all started for Ananya.” Risa was only 13 years old then. “I miss my girls at that age.” ICYDK: Le Bal des is an annual event that brings together 21 successful young women from elite families around the world to represent style, tradition and philanthropy while raising funds for charitable causes.
Reacting to the post, actresses Nargis Fakhri, Bhavana Pandey and Seema Sajdeh dropped a heart emoji in the comments section. Ananya also took a screengrab from the video and shared it on her Instagram Stories. “Oh my god, how it was about 8 years ago!” He wrote in the caption.

Last week, Bhavana Pandey shared glimpses of her daughter Riyasa Pandey’s Le Bal debut on Instagram. Risa looked like a modern princess in an Elie Saab gown. The last frame shows Chunky Pandey and Risa laughing, depicting a perfect father-daughter moment. The note attached to the post read, “My baby girl is shining at Le Bal des Paris. But shine. love you.”
Chunky Pandey also gave the sweetest congratulations to his daughter. One click showed Risa posing with Apple – daughter of Hollywood stars Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin and Lucia Ponti – granddaughter of famous screen star Sophia Loren. Apple and Lucia both made their debut at the glittering event. In another picture, Risa posed with her parents. He looked into the lens and smiled brightly. “The Belle of the Ball Le Bal des Paris 2024. My little princess Risa, so proud of you. Keep smiling, ruling and rocking,” read Chunky Pandey’s side note.
Meanwhile, Ananya Panday was last seen in the Netflix thriller film CTRL With Vihaan Samat. The actress is now shooting for the second season Call me bae.
