Katie Holmes turns 46 and is feeling extra grateful as she enjoys a special moment with her daughter Suri Cruise. The Dawson’s Creek alum took to her Instagram to share a series of sweet birthday surprises she received from her loved ones.
Even though Suri is studying at Carnegie Mellon University as a freshman, she didn’t forget to send her mom a beautiful surprise. Holmes couldn’t help but gush over the thoughtful gift for her and ex-husband Tom Cruise’s 18-year-old daughter.

Holmes posted a photo of a beautiful bouquet of purple roses to her Instagram Story on Wednesday. “I am so grateful for all my blessings 🌸 especially my daughter 🌷” she captioned the photo.

Her last public relationship was with musician Bobby Wooton III, which ended in 2022. Before this, she dated Jamie Foxx for six years. The couple separated in 2019. Holmes, who has mostly kept her look-alike daughter away from the paparazzi since her split from Tom Cruise, broke her silence after reports surfaced that Suri was 18 thanks to a trust fund Tom Cruise activated overnight. By night she had become a millionaire. The trust fund was reportedly part of their divorce settlement. Suri and Cruise, on the other hand, have reportedly fallen out, with Suri even choosing to drop her father’s famous surname in favor of her mother’s middle name, Noel.
The 46-year-old criticized a report on her Instagram, titled, “Suri Cruise is a millionaire! Tom Cruise’s trust fund has ‘kicked in,’ and mom Katie Holmes has one for her too,” and wrote, ” Daily Mail, you can stop making things up.” She labeled the claims “completely false” and expressed her disappointment in the caption with the simple words, “Enough.”

The report claims that the trust fund was carefully structured to prevent Suri from being overwhelmed with a large amount of money at once. Raised primarily in New York City and away from intense media scrutiny, Suri grew up under the care of her mother after Cruise and Holmes separated in 2012.
