The trailer introduces not only Superman, but several other members of the DC Universe, most notably Krypto, the Super Dog. The teaser has been praised by fans for its bright tone, which is a far cry from Zack Snyder’s Man of Steel, which is known for its grim take on the character and his life.
The teaser begins with an injured Superman bleeding out in the snow. We get a glimpse of his life as Daily Planet reporter Clark Kent as he makes eyes with Lois Lane.
