Congratulations are in order for Devoleena Bhattacharjee and Shanwaz Shaikh as they have recently decided to become parents. The actress welcomed her little bundle of joy, a baby boy, with her husband on Wednesday (December 18).
A day later, Devoleena shared the good news by posting an adorable video on Instagram. The note read, “Thrilled to announce the arrival of our bundle of joy, our baby boy. Excited parents Devoleena and Shanwaz”
The birth date of the newborn was mentioned in the clip and it was embedded with cute emojis. Devoleena wrote, “Hello world! Our little angel boy is here.”
The comments section was flooded with congratulatory messages. Actress Supriya Raina Shukla wrote, “Congratulations to both of you. N love to little one”, while Deepika Singh extended her hearty congratulations to the couple. Jay Bhanushali also expressed a similar sentiment, and Jayati Bhatia mentioned, “Onek ashirwad o adore (blessings and love).”
Devoleena Bhattacharjee has been giving updates on her pregnancy journey for quite some time now. Earlier, she had given fans a glimpse of her intimate baby shower ceremony. The happy couple posed romantically for the lens while twinning in ethnic wear. “Suni baiya sajhegi sajna” read his side note.

Devoleena had announced her pregnancy in August. He uploaded a series of photos of the traditional “Panchamrit” ritual. Devoleena’s pregnancy glow was visible in the clicks.
She was looking very beautiful wearing an emerald green saree and golden jewellery. The television star, sitting on a sofa, held up a baby costume with the words “Now you can stop asking” written on it. Shanwaz took his pet dog in its cradle and sat near it.
