In a day of dramatic events, the lead actor Pushpa-2 Allu Arjun got interim bail for four weeks from the Telangana High Court on Friday (December 13, 2024) within hours of being arrested and jailed by the Hyderabad Police in a case of culpable homicide not amounting to murder.
High Court Justice Juvvadi Sridevi, who heard the actor’s bail plea filed as a lunch motion, directed Allu Arjun to deposit a personal bond of ₹50,000 with the jail authorities.
The judge also granted bail to two other accused arrested earlier in the case, saying the actor should cooperate with the police authorities investigating the case.
