A war of words has broken out between veteran actors Anupam Kher and Hansal Mehta regarding their film. The Accidental Prime Minister The filmmaker agreed with a journalist that the 2019 political drama was full of “lies” about former PM Manmohan Singh.

Singh, the architect of India’s economic reforms, died on Thursday night at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Delhi at the age of 92. He served as Prime Minister from 2004 to 2014.
