Ram Gopal Varma’s Truth Will be re-released in theaters on this date

The trend of re-releasing iconic films in theaters will continue till 2025 Crazy youthfulness, Ram Gopal Varma’s cult classic Truth All set to make a grand comeback in theaters on 17th January.

Originally released in 1998, this groundbreaking crime drama stars Manoj Bajpayee, JD Chakraborty and Urmila Matondkar. Known for redefining Indian cinema with its gritty narrative and realistic portrayal of Mumbai’s underworld. Truth It remains a classic.

on friday, TruthThe post announcing the re-release was jointly shared on Instagram by PVR Cinemas and Inox Movies. The post shows a poster of the film and also mentions the re-release date.

The text accompanying the post read, “The past cannot be buried, and neither can the truth! Get ready to dive into the world of.” Truth Once again on PVR Inox. Re-release on PVR Inox on 17th January!”

Directed and produced by Ram Gopal Varma, Truth It also stars Saurabh Shukla, Aditya Srivastava, Shefali Shah and Paresh Rawal in important roles. The story is written by Saurabh Shukla and Anurag Kashyap.

Truth Tells the story of Satya (played by JD Chakraborty), a man who comes to Mumbai in search of work. He befriends Bhiku Mhatre (Manoj Bajpayee) and gradually gets drawn into the dangerous world of Mumbai underworld.

Truth Earned recognition at major awards shows. At the 46th National Film Awards, Manoj Bajpayee won the Best Supporting Actor award for his portrayal of Bhiku Mhatre. The film also made its mark at the 44th Filmfare Awards and won six awards, including Best Film (Critics) for Ram Gopal Varma, Best Actor (Critics) for Manoj Bajpayee, Best Actress (Critics) for Shefali Shah, Best Actress (Critics) for Sandeep Contains the best background score.
