The list included notable names like Shah Rukh Khan and Chiranjeevi as well as Chandramukhi producer Ramkumar Ganesan, who produced the film under his banner Sivaji Productions.

In November last year, Dhanush had sent a legal notice to Nayanthara after the trailer of his documentary was released, demanding Rs 10 crore for the use of a three-second BTS clip of Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan.

Nayanthara strongly responded to the legal notice saying, “I have received your legal notice and we will respond to it appropriately through legal means. Your refusal to grant NOC for the use of elements of Naanum Rowdy Dhaan in our Netflix documentary ” Justified by you from a copyright point of view, but I want to remind you that there is also a moral side to this, which must be defended in the court of God.”

In her open letter, Nayanthara revealed that she and her team spent two years attempting to gain Dhanush’s permission to use the Naanum Rowdy Paddy footage in the documentary. He expressed his surprise at receiving a legal notice after the trailer’s release, accusing him of using a mere three-second clip without permission.

Nayanthara wrote, “Your legal notice after the trailer release of the Netflix documentary is even more shocking. We were shocked to read the lines in which you questioned the use of some videos (just 3 seconds) which are stored in our personal devices.” Were shot.” And that too BTS scenes which are already public on social media and claim loss of Rs 10 crores for just 3 seconds, this is the lowest for you and says a lot about your character Half were the person you portray on stage at the audio launch in front of your innocent fans but clearly don’t practice what you preach, at least not to me and my partner.”

Days after Nayanthara shared an open letter, Dhanush’s lawyer issued a statement asking him to remove the content within 24 hours.
