Junaid Khan, who is all set to act in the film लव्यापा Unlike Khushi Kapoor, he opened up about his growing up years with his divorced parents. Unlike his sister Ira, who had previously said that their parents’ divorce had an impact on him, Junaid said in an interview that it had no negative impact on him. Vicky Lalwani.
Aamir Khan and Reena Dutta separated in 2002 when Junaid was eight years old. Later, Aamir married Kiran Rao in 2005. Sharing about the time when Junaid first saw his parents fight, he said, “I think my parents separated when I was eight years old. But they really I never let us feel like that. I never saw that.” They continued fighting until I was 19 years old. The first time I saw my parents fight, I was 19 years old.”
He further added, “So we never saw them disagreeing or fighting. They were always… when it came to us (Junaid and his sister Ira) they were one unit. So, I think they treated us that way.” Well done. I think that was probably a mature thing to do. I mean two good people are not always good together and that way we at least got a childhood where both parents were happy. “
Maharaj The actor stressed that his parents’ separation had no negative impact on his early days. “Personally I don’t think I missed it that much. Dad used to be there. It’s not that he wasn’t there completely. In fact sometimes it was like, ‘It’s okay, don’t come…’ .'” he revealed.
At Ira’s wedding last year, Aamir Khan, his ex-wives Reena Dutta, Kiran Rao, sons Junaid, Azad set an example of a modern blended family and they had a great time. Happy pictures of the wedding were viral on social media.
Talking about the dynamics in the family, Junaid Khan said, “It’s great. We meet often (after her marriage). We all live within the same 100 meter radius. So we meet often. In fact, every Tuesday evening we have family tea. So, Mom, Ira, I and Dad, sometimes some of us are not free, but otherwise every Tuesday evening we meet where the four of us or three or two. Have been happening for the last few years. That’s what we’re doing. We meet often.”
Junaid Khan made his Bollywood debut with Netflix Original Maharaj. He will also be seen with Sai Pallavi in a film this year.
