It also marks 25 years of Hrithik Roshan.
The film was re-released on his birthday, January 10, 2025, to celebrate the film’s massive success and milestone.
It is well known that this film was first offered to Kareena Kapoor Khan.
In a recent conversation with News18 ShoshaAmeesha Patel was asked to react to this and throw light on her equation with Kareena.
“They have achieved a lot independently and I don’t think we should go into equations,” Ameesha said.
He was further asked if he believed that Kareena’s rejection became a fruitful opportunity for him.
Ameesha reiterated that the credit for the success of the film goes to everyone who was associated with the film and who made it such a huge success.

Kareena told Filmfare, “There are certain parts in the film where she has pimples on her face and bags under her eyes. She doesn’t look beautiful, but every shot of her was a dream. If I was in the film, I would do that. ” Obviously I got a better deal, but I still feel the attention would have been divided between us, so I’m glad I didn’t do the film.”
