The Gujarat Police has made extensive arrangements for the much awaited coldplay concert, which is scheduled to be held on January 25 and 26 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Speaking to ANI, JCP Ahmedabad Police, Neeraj Kumar Badgujar said that more than 3,800 police personnel have been deployed along with metal detectors.
Additionally, 400 CCTV cameras have also been installed to monitor the incident, and plain officers, including women police officers and staff, have been assigned to ensure the safety of fans. “More than 3,800 police personnel have been deployed along with metal detectors and plaincloths officers including women police officers and staff. Set to monitor the incident,” JCP Badgujar said.
He said, “The police will fully examine every person entering the site, with special barricading arrangements to ensure that no one enters without checking.” On Friday, the Ahmedabad Police Commissioner reviewed the security measures taken for the incident.
The Police Commissioner visited the site to review the security measures, inspecting every point including the CCTV control room and the police control room. Coldplay’s much awaited India tour is currently running as part of them Music of Safes World Tour,

The band performed at Die Patil Stadium in Mumbai on 19 and 21 January and will now perform at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on 25 and 26 January.
