New Delhi: The International Federation of the Phoneographic Industry (IFPI) has revealed the list of the largest-based global recording artists of 2024, in which Taylor Swift has achieved the prestigious title of the Global Recording Artist of the Year. This is his fifth win of the award, and his third consecutive win, which strengthens his position as a global music powerhouse.
In the notable year of Swift, not only did the top spots in the global recording artist ranking, but also many other major IFPI awards were understood. She wins in the global album chart, global vinyl album chart, global streaming album charts, and global album cells charts, inspired by the huge success of her eleventh studio album the Tortard Poetts Department released in April 2024.
IFPI Global Recording Artist of the Year Award, now in its 12th year, Taylor Swift has seen the chart at the top compared to any other artist.
The ranking is followed by Drake, seventeen, Billy Alesh, Strey Kids, Zach Bryan, The Weekend, Eminem, Kendrick Lamar and Sabrina Carpenter out of the top 10.
