Director SS Rajamouli has completed the Odisha schedule of his upcoming film, Ssmb29Mahesh Babu, Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Prithviraj Sukumaran starring. The schedule was filmed in the scenic Koraput district, which had the major action sequences shot at Talmali Hilltop in Semiliguda.
After the rap-up, Rajamouli shared a video of his single trek on the highest peak of Demali, Odisha. He described the scene as “breathtaking”, but also voiced disappointment over the garbage left behind by trekkers. “Such ancient miracles deserve better. A little civilian meaning can create a big difference … Each visitor must take back his waste to help protect these places,” he wrote.
On Tuesday, Rajamouli was congratulated by hundreds of fans as they concluded the schedule. Local self-help groups presented him with handmade gifts, and Potangi MLA Ramchandra Kadam gifted the millet-based product. The Odisha government has expressed appreciation for the film being shot in the state, given that it will help Koraput to promote a potential film tourism destination. The security around the set was tightened after the initial leak, and the district administration provided wide support for production.
Ssmb29 A globe-trotting is described as a jungle adventure and the first cooperation with Mahesh Babu of Rajamouli. The release date of the film is yet to be announced.
