Los Angeles: Oscar winner Star Ben Flake has talked about his struggles with alcohol and Batman V Superman: Don of Justice, Suicide Squad, Justice League and The Flash faced challenges under Cowl in the Flash.
The actor-director said in a new interview, “I loved Batman V Superman.
The actor told GQ, “Creatively, I really think that I like the idea and ambition that I had, which was like the old, broken, damaged Bruce Wayne. And it was something that we really went to the first film.”
“Justice League” was a different story.
“I would definitely not like to repeat that kind of experience,” he said.
“A lot of this was a misunderstanding of agenda, understanding, expectations. And at the same time, I was not bringing anything especially amazing for that equation at that time, either. In that process and at that time and at that time, my own failure, significant failures.”
Those failures had a habit of increasing drinking.
The actor told the New York Times in 2020, “I drank normally for a long time. What happened that when I was falling my marriage, I started drinking more and more.”
When asked about drinking alone in his hotel room, Ephlack said he was “quite a little” on the Justice League, which he had also called his Nadir.
“You are trying to make yourself feel better with eating or drinking or drinking or drinking or gambling or shopping or whatever it is,” he explained. “But it makes your life worse. Then you do it more so that the discomfort can be overcome. Then real pain starts. It becomes a vicious cycle that you cannot break. At least what happened to me.”
The purpose of self-criticism of Ephlec is not so much on their performance, but on the set “I was bringing to work every day” on the set.
“I mean, my failures as an actor, you can see various films and judges,” he told GQ.
“But about my failures, in terms of why I had a bad experience, a part of it is that everything I was bringing to work every day was very unhappy. So I was not bringing too much positive energy to the equation. I did not cause problems, but I came in and I did my work and I went home.
That feeling and others led the two -time Oscar winner to retreat on Batman from another term inside the Cowl.
“I showed someone a Batman script,” Aphlack told the Times.
“He said,” I think the script is good. I also think you will drink yourself for death if you go through the thing you went again. ”
“I knew back from the way, like” Okay, look, people know that I am an alcoholic or in recovery, I am going to talk about it. ” I didn’t really like it bad.
“And not because I feel ashamed with it or anything. I think I have been calm for more than five years, it’s not just something that is at the forefront of my mind. It is not the central prejudice of my life.”
