BJP leader V Muraliharan stands through participation position on L2: Ampuran controversy

Thiruvananthapuram: Actor-director Prithviraj Sukumaran’s Mohanlal led ‘L2: Emapuran’ is breaking records at the box office. Earlier, the state BJP President Rajiv Chandrashekhar took the film’s team on his X account to expand his wishes as he shared a picture with Malayalam superstar Mohanlal.

BJYM State General Secretary K Ganesh, in a Facebook post, asked the filmmaker to investigate the “foreign connection”, claiming that Prithviraj’s films have followed the “completely anti-national” pattern.

Ganesh also alleged that Prithviraj’s stay in Jordan should be investigated during the filming of Adujivitha.

He said, “During the shooting of Aadujeevitham, he was stuck in Jordan. It is important to check with whom he was in contact during his time,” he said.

Mohanlal-Starrer hit theaters on 27 March.
