Actress Amisha Patel shared her views at the old age of Salman Khan and Rashmika Mandanna in her film ‘Sikander’.
During an event in Mumbai, Amisha Patel was sought to her opinion on the debate which recently began at a press conference about the age difference between Salman and the Rashami.
Talking to IANS, Amisha said, “I and Sunny ji (Sunny Deol) also have an older difference – more than 20 years, but when the film works, everything is forgiven.”
Refusing her memory, Amisha has shared screen space in ‘Gadar: Ek Prem Katha’ and ‘Gadar 2’ with Sunny Deol. Both these films became a big success in ticket counters. It should be noted here that Amisha and Sunny are 18 years different in age.
A few days ago, while talking at the trailer launch event of ‘Sikander’, Salman talked about the huge age difference between superstar and younger actresses. Sharing his views on the dynamics developing in the film industry, Salman said in his trademark style, “There is a difference of 31 years between me and the heroine. The heroine does not have this problem. The heroine’s father does not have this problem.” After this, he turned to the Rashmika and asked him, “You don’t have this problem, right?”
This is not an unusual practice for elderly heroes in Indian cinema, which is very small for the heroines for them.
Talking about ‘Alexander’, the film is made under the direction of AR Murugados. The action thriller was released in the cinema hall on March 30 and opened for mixed response. Despite all the discussion, ‘Alexander’ failed to affect the box office.
In the film, Sanjay “Alexander” Rajkot, (Salman) Raja of Rajkot, becomes a goal for Minister Rakesh Pradhan (Satyaraj) after killing his son. When his wife’s donated organs save the lives of three people, Rakesh takes revenge, forcing Sanjay to protect him.
Along with Salman and Rashmika, the main actors of the drama include Satyaraj, Kajal Aggarwal, Sharman Joshi, Pratic Babbar, Kishore, Jatin Sarna and Sanjay Kapoor.
