Rishab Sharma’s period is not there, Delhi spellbound – see viral musical moment

Famous sitarvist and music innovator Rishab Rikhiram Sharma has once again captured the hearts – this time with a surprising sitar of the prestigious Bollywood track Kaal Ho Na Ho. On 6 April, Indira Gandhi performed as part of her Sitar for Mental Health India Tour at Indira Gandhi Arena in New Delhi, the moving interpretation left 14,000-fierce audiences in amazement, while also illuminated the Internet with praise and emotional reactions.

Social media flared up with praise as fans flooded the platforms with clips and comments. An Instagram user declared it “the best 70 seconds of my life”, while the other called it, “therapy I never knew that I needed.” Many users described the performance as “intimate” and “Gozbump-Uptoran”. Even Kaal Ho Na Ho producer Karan Johar shared a reel of performance on his Instagram story, and carried forward the magic.

In a Hardik Instagram post, Rishab reflected in the historic evening, wrote, “14,000 hearts. A frequency. We made history in our hometown, Delhi. Yet after selling the largest indoor stadium in the country, he was overwhelmed with gratitude. Thanks to every soul, which is a big victory for Indian music!


26 -year -old Sitar Ustad, who is trained under the legendary Pandit Ravi Shankar, has long been on a mission to make classical music relevant to the young viewers. Despite facing pushbacks from traditional purists, Rishab leads the creative boundaries, fuses the ancient sounds of the sitar with modern sensations.
