New Delhi: Akshay Kumar’s next court room drama remains only two days till the dramatic premiere of Kesari Chapter 2. The film c. Chronic the story of Shankaran Nair, a lawyer who fought for justice for innocent victims of 1919 Jaliyanwala Bagh massacre. In this, Ananya Pandey and R. Madhavan is and set after that tragedy.
Despite the important enthusiasm of the film, the initial box office number one shows a mixed picture. With the sale of advance tickets, the film has so far earned a little more than Rs 1.02 crore, including earnings from block seat reservation. There has been a lot of positive response to the scheme of initial screening in important cities including Bengaluru, Kolkata, Delhi, Chandigarh and Mumbai.
The film is slowly gaining momentum, with 4,034 tickets sold and there are 1,948 screenings already booked in India. With Rs 28 lakh collected from the capital city alone, Delhi has taken the lead.
Keeping in mind the block seat reservation, the expected gross amount increases to Rs 89.36 lakh. This is a good start, but it does not even have a standard of star-staded film like ‘Kesari Chapter 2’.
The film’s special performance in Delhi on Tuesday was attended by Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri, who was involved in anticipation. The audience praised the acting of Akshay Kumar and Madhavan, and thanked the creators of the film for focusing on an important moment in history.

About ‘Kesari Chapter 2’
Based on the case of the novel, The Neck shook, this material-driven film has a rating and no commercial soundtrack. Thanks to the film’s teaser and the enthusiastic reception of the trailer, The Dharma Productions Picture has created some good discussion among the filmmakers.
The film, which has been allegedly given a budget between Rs 100-150 crore, is directed by Karan Singh Tyagi. ‘Kesari Chapter 2’ is set to hit theaters on April 18, 2025.
