‘Kesari Chapter 2’ Day 3 Box Office: Akshay Kumar, R Madhavan starrer cross ₹ 29 crore

Kesari Chapter 2, Akshay Kumar’s latest film is closed for a promising start at the box office. Directed by Karan Singh Tyagi, the film also stars R Madhavan, Ananya Pandey and Amit Year.

The film, which hit the screen on April 18, 2025, is reported to cross ₹ 29 crore within its first three days at the box office. As Sacnilk.com, A playwright of the film, Advocate C Shankaran Nair was told that efforts to bring out the truth behind the Jalianwala Bagh massacre collected ₹ 11.84 crore on the third day.

Kesari chapter 2 Made ₹ 7.75 crore on the first day, while it was the second day. It was 9.75 crores. The total collection of the film is Rs 29.34 crore.

The film is still behind Akshay’s previous release, Sky force. Released on January 24, 2025, the film had an impressive inauguration weekend display, with a domestic net figure of ₹ 61.75 crore.

Kesari chapter 2 Is based on book The case that shook the empire By Raghu Palat and Pushpa Palat, C Shankaran Nair and 1919 Jalianwala wandering around the genocide. Hindi film, a spiritual sequel saffron (2019), Dharma Productions, Leo Media is collected and Cape of Good Films.

In the film, Akshay Kumar played the character of advocate C Shankaran Nair, while Madhavan played Advocate Neville McNlay. Ananya Pandey played the role of Dilarit Gill.

Hindu The film’s review stated, “The camera catchs the massacre with the intention of provoking a massacre and sets the stage for an angry Akshay. Tyagi is so engrossed in serving her star that she goes for a toss to tell the story. She does not try to track backstory behind the massacre. References, and no mention of the Hunter Commission.

“If you are done with chest-cheating, check the recent OTT series of Ram Madhwani on the subject. It is also a piece of imagination, but it feels close to the truth.”
