New Delhi:
On this Friday, Emraan Hashmi’s film ground Zero Will hit the screen. It is a film that brings one of the most important tasks performed by India’s Border Security Force (BSF) to life; The courageous mission that led to the murder of Ghazi Baba, the notorious commander of Jaish-e-Mohammed. Ghazi Baba was the mastermind of the 2001 Parliament attack.
the film ground Zero Indian security forces described Gazi Baba’s constant hunting, real -life story. Nevertheless, behind the cinematic thrills and high -octane drama, there is a Stark, unspecified truth – the fight against terrorism is over. This is a war where victory is pyramic, and the source of terror remains untouched to a great extent.
Who was Ghazi Baba?
Rana Tahir Nadeem, commonly known as Ghazi Baba, was one of the most desired terrorists in the world. Ghazi Baba, a top commander of Pakistan-based terrorist group Jaish-e-Mohammed, was implicated in a series of high-profile attacks, which plays him in the 2001 Indian Parliament attack.
The attack, which left nine dead, increased tension between India and Pakistan, and Baba became a symbol of terror that entered the Indian earth from across the border.
Ghazi Baba’s name became synonymous with violence and bloodshed that Jaish-e-Mohammed operated from Pakistan’s safe haven, especially under the patronage of Pakistan’s intelligence agency, ISI.
Ghazi Baba’s criminal activities were not limited to just one attack – his fingers were on a wave of cruel militant operations, demanding to ignite religious hatred and push Kashmir into chaos.
Working from secret sanctuaries in Pakistan, he managed to capture despite being “one of the most wanted terrorists” in the world.

It was only in 2003, after years of monitoring, intelligence, and perseverance that Ghazi Baba’s rule would come to a dramatic end, thanks to an accurate, high -risk operation under the leadership of Narendra Nath Dhar Dubey, a senior BSF officer.
Operation to kill Ghazi Baba
It was not a simple raid. This was a calculation mission – the culmination of tireless intelligence work and the bravery of men who risk their lives every day in the disabled area of Kashmir.
It had been a year and a half of the Indian Parliament attack. In July 2003, during the visit of the then Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpey to Kashmir, a Pakistani terrorist named Ansar Bhai was caught by BSF Jawans in Srinagar. He was wearing a suicide vest.
After interrogation, Ansar revealed that he worked for Jaish-e-Mohammed and communicated with Gazi Baba (Code-Nam “39”) twice daily on a wireless set.

He did not know where Ghazi Baba was hiding, but he gave another important leadership – a carpenter that created a hideout for Jaish terrorists. This carpenter was taken every time to build a safhouse, but he remembered the place of such a hideout.
Acting on this clue, Dubey and her team started the late night operation. He surrounded the house in Nurbagh, Srinagar. At 4.10 pm, the team raided the third floor of the house. At first glance, it looked empty, only with carpet and cushion.
mirror Mirror on the wall
After listening to a soldier, the carpenter whisper “glass” (mirror), it broke it – and when the real danger was revealed. The mirror was hiding a secret entrance. As soon as it broke, a huge explosion occurred. Bullets flew away. A young man, Balbir Singh, died immediately. Dubey lost his fingers and almost his right hand.

Despite being seriously injured, Dubey continued firing with his left hand. A grenade thrown at him was kicked back. Eventually, a person living in a blue shirt was confirmed to be Gazi Baba – he died in a crossfire.
Ghazi Baba’s death gave a significant victory for Indian forces, and a devastating blow to Jaish-e-Mohammed. It is considered the most successful operation of BSF in five decades.

Reel success versus reality
Whereas ground Zero And many similar films have dealt with the subject of anti-terrorism, secret operation and national security, which portray the brave acts of Indian soldiers, which put everything at risk to eliminate bad people, reality is far more complicated.
Baby (2015)Starring Akshay Kumar, Anupam Kher and Taapsee Pannu, shows an elite team of Indian intelligence officials carrying missions to stop terrorist attacks. The film ends with the successful occupation of Maulana Rahman, a terrorist from Pakistan; A character from Maulana Masood Azhar, the founder of Jai-e-Mohammed, is heavyly inspired.

Phantom (2015)Directed by Kabir Khan, there was a fictional film based on the 26/11 Mumbai attacks. Saif Ali Khan and Katrina Kaif played the role of Indian agents, who go on a mission to kill the mastermind behind 26/11, including Lashkar-e-Tiba co-founder Hafiz Saeed.
Hafiz Saeed then withdrew the court in Pakistan, and the court ensured that Gallow There was no release in the country.

Like movies Child And Gallow Painting a world where terrorist leaders are rapidly neutralized, providing catarsis to the audience. Reality, of course, what is on the film.
What do we know about ground Zero
