Atul Kulkarni visited Pahalgam after the terrorist attack, “Kashmir is ours, we will keep coming”

A few days after the deadly terrorist attack in Jammu and Kashmir, in which at least 26 lives were claimed, actor Atul Kulkarni visited Pahalgam and made a powerful statement. Sharing photos and videos from his journey, Kulkarni urged the citizens to be afraid to retrieve their relationship with the region. “This is our Kashmir, this is our country, we will come,” he announced.

On 27 April, Rang de Basanti The actor posted images of “I Love Pahgam” installation, taste of local snacks and shopping for cricket bat from Kashmiri Store. In a post, he wrote in Hindi, “It is India’s property. Courage is heavy with fear. Let’s go to Kashmir. Let’s go to Kashmir. I have come, you also come,” adding hashtags like #Chalokashmir and #Defeatterror.

Kulkarni’s visit hit a raga with local people, a shopkeeper thanked them online for showing solidarity during difficult times. The shopkeeper wrote, “Thank you very much for coming in these difficult times and showing enemies, we are not afraid.”

Talk to ANIKulkarni said that his journey was a deliberate message of resistance against fear. “The April 22 incident made the whole country unhappy. I read that 90% of the booking was canceled here. Terrorists want to scare us. But this is not going to happen. This is our Kashmir, our country, and we will keep coming here,” he said.

He said, “I could not give this message to live in Mumbai. So I came here. If I could come, the rest of the countries can also come. We should not be afraid.”

Kulkarni’s Instagram stories further enhanced his journey – from almost empty flights to hot conversations with Kashmiri locals. The video shared by him revealed that despite the recent attack, tourists were still reaching Pahalgam and surrounding areas.

At least 26 people were killed and more than 20 injured in the recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam, inspiring strong reactions from the Indian film industry. Prominent actors, filmmakers and public figures have condemned violence, offered sensations and demanded accountability.
