Bollywood superstar Salman Khan announced on Monday morning that he has postponed his Bollywood Big One Tour, which was determined on 4-5 May in Britain under the light of a terrorist attack in Pahgam, Kashmir.

Salman took on Instagram, where he shared the poster of tourists with personalities like Sara Ali Khan, Tiger Shroff, Varun Dhawan, Madhuri Dixit Nene, Kriti Sanon, Disha Patani, Sunil Grover and Manish Paul with “Dubung Star”.

The poster wrote “postponed” on “The Bollywood Big One” UK Tour.

For the caption, Salman wrote: “In the light of recent tragic events in Kashmir, and with deep sadness, we have taken a difficult decision to request promoters to postpone the Bollywood Big One Show, which has originally determined for May 4 and 5 in Manchester and London.”

He mentioned that he understands that “how much our fans were looking forward to these performances, we think it is right to stay only during grief.”

On 22 April, a deadly terrorist attack on tourists claimed about 26 lives in the Baisran Valley of the Indian-influenced Jammu and Kashmir region. The terrorists allegedly separated the tourists on the basis of their faith and shot them after finding out their religion.

The Terrorist Organization, Resistance Morcha (TRF) has claimed responsibility for the attack. TRF is an off-shooting of Pakistan-based terrorist group Lashkar-e-Tabiba and came into existence in the valley after the historical cancellation of Article 370.

Several personalities, including Arijit Singh and Shreya Ghoshal, have canceled their concerts in the light of the Pahalgam attack.

Going on social media on 25 April, Shreya shared a note on her stories: “Recently and in the light of tragic events, the organizers along with the artists decided to collectively cancel the upcoming show in Surat this Saturday 26 April,” the organizers have written.

Shreya further assured the attendees that they would be given full withdrawal for tickets. This refund will soon be reflected in the original source of their payment.

The note said, “All ticket holders will receive full refund, and the amount will be returned to your original mode. Write on events@districk.in for any question. Thank you for your understanding.”

Arijit Singh also called his upcoming concert in Chennai after the initiative terrorist attack.
