The same hero, the new villain, the big scale is a formula that often works for a new bond venture or a fresh jump that takes our tiger. This week, director Raj Kumar Gupta implemented the rules of the big-life heroes on the new chapter of the unhappy Income Tax Officer made seven years ago.
In the slippers, the honest public servant captured the strength of a feudal lord in the skin of a member of Parliament, the first film impressed with its compelling base, watertite screenplay and strong performance. Ajay Devgan developed the rugged skin of intensive Ami Patnaik, unaffected by transfer and threats, but it was Saurabh Shukla, which brought the house down with his evil methods and funny repetition.
In its second recurrence, there is no value adding, only a tamping background score, often reserved for Bollywood’s Singhams. The tone has been fixed by Govind Namdev for the lack of courage to the revenue authorities and Devgan has been replaced in dark shades in one night sequence.
Working within the conferences of localism idioms, Raid The formula has become, perhaps a tool to make weapons of previous dispensation to serve the present.
Raid 2 (Hindi)
Director: Raj Kumar Gupta
Mold: Ajay Devgan, Wani Kapoor, Ritish Deshmukh, Amit Sial, Yashpal Sharma
Runtime: 150 minutes
Story: Re -transferred, IRS officer Ami Patnaik opens the file of a popular and powerful politician who looks absolutely clear
If the first installment was set in the Indira Yuga, the sequel to the VP Singh rule comes up. Without underlining the intention, the film finds blame in the politics of social justice and coalition governments. Nicknames suggest intentions. The honest hero is a patnaik, the villain is from a backward group that comes out of the shoe business, and the shape-transfer officer who touches the feet of both the villain and the hero, has no other name-defined name.

You may not agree with his voice, but Gupta’s films are known for his social comment. Here, in an attempt to advance the action on the surface, his voice deteriorates, and the film becomes a hollow emotional spectacle.
Located at a fictional city, Bhoj, the film has seen Shukla to Ritish Deshmukh, changing as Patnaik’s new target, grandfather Manohar Bhai. Backster developed Manohar as the champion of social justice politics, where public support is more important than money power. On the surface, Manohar looks ancient as a dedicated son and a philanthropic social worker, but Patnaik, who is now open to bend the rules to nab the corrupt, finds the royal shield of the politician.

With the family life of Patnaik, the build-up with anticipated, bombing lines comes out, where Vani Kapoor has replaced Ileana D’Cruz to complete the three-day, one-half-one-half-day routine. The second half opens with a customary item number. In the middle, the tedious discovery for the original cash that used to feel realistic and exciting at the original, looks repetitive and created here. Ritesh Shah and his team of writers tries to infect the twist and turn, but the effort appears on the screen. Suspense does not surprise you.
This occurs when Amit Sial appears to have an entry as a viable officer that the proceedings are really upset. Then, Yashpal Sharma turns into a clever lawyer to connect a layer of intrigue. Both get the mouth of the best lines and bend the pages to find gold.
However, it is difficult to believe that two live in the same society where Deshmukh operates. The cast against the type, Deshmukh neither attains the nuances of a cow-belt politician nor a bombing, groveling villain. He remains a common stereotype of a politician who has compromised with conflict at his ground level, largely because the writing team has not given him the layers that deserve the character. Shukla’s presence as a type of link between the original and sequel makes it even more problematic, as you desire more screen time for the actor.

There are some interesting turns in popular idioms. For example, the hero is without mother’s cover, while the villain hides behind the worship of the mother. However, the agency of women characters is largely cosmetic. Mother has no clue of her son’s prediction, while Patnaik’s wife is only to serve her husband’s honesty.
Even more importantly, the film oversees the role of the public. It repeatedly considers people as passive audiences who are emotionally inspired by charismatic figures, whether they are brave or corrupt. Like real life, white-collar crime is not enough to frame the culprit on the screen. For a franchise focusing on financial corruption, manufacturers ensure that the villain’s collapse is also in his character.
It is a land for jobs, the body for blackmail, or the golden tap detection, the film has extended social media Chatter against a particular class of politicians to serve the holy hero, which becomes a means of advertising direct benefits of black money to distract, from climax.
