‘Bison’: Mari Selvaraj’s film with Dhruv Vikram gets its release date

BijonFilmmaker Mari Selvaraj’s upcoming film with actor Dhruv Vikram will be released in theaters on 17 October during Deepawali, the producers announced on Saturday (May 3).

Ace filmmaker-producer Pa Ranjith, who is producing the film under his Neelam Studio banner, unveiled a special poster to announce the news. Ranjith wrote, “The film is raw, real, and made with great love. This is a story that is close to both our hearts.”

Meanwhile, Mari shared the poster on her X handle and called it “a film of perseverance, determination and existence”.

The film, which is a sports drama, starred as a woman of Rajisha Vijayan and Anupama Parameswaran. Plot details are unknown, but some earlier reports suggested that Bijon Kabadi is based on the real life story of Manthi Ganesan. However, the manufacturers have not yet been confirmed.

In a statement before the producers, the film was described as a kabaddi-based sports drama, stating that “there is a story of courage, patience and glory in the life of a young man, where the whole world was a goal for its David. The story of a person who defines lines with his hand, who did not think anyone, to choose a gun, to choose more than a gun.
