Varun Dhawan, Parineeti Chopra urged citizens to rely on verified sources amid India-Pakistan tension.

Amid the increasing tension between India and Pakistan, Bollywood celebrities Varun Dhawan and Parineeti Chopra urged the citizens not to rely on verified sources and do not hunt fake news. “Let’s only spread the correct information,” Varun posted on Instagram Story.

Parineeti also took Instagram Story and asked people to stop spreading fake news. “The worst we can do now, fake news is spreading and fear those who are seeing. Let’s trust the official update and nothing. Report responsibly,” he wrote.

Actor Sonakshi Sinha criticized news channels for sensationalizing the India-Pakistan struggle. “Our news channel is a joke! I am doing this with these over-dramatized visual and sound effects, screaming and screaming! What are you doing? Just do your work, report the facts as they are. Stop the war and create panic in those who are worried anyway,” He posted for God.
