Amidst the stress of India-Pakistan, a large number of Bollywood actors have been targeted for their silence on the Pahalgam attack by the Internet and their silence on Operation Sindoor. Preity Zinta, who is always vocal about contemporary issues, has hosted an AMA (I ask anything session) on X (formerly known as Twitter) where she replied to fan Queri that other Bollywood actors have not talked about India-Pakistan conflicts.
A fan wrote, “What is your opinion and take it to so many costers and Bollywood stars did not condemn the #Falagamattack nor did they come out in support of our armed forces during #Operationsindoor, we appreciate you that you were standing for India, but not many people in Bollywood.”
Cleaning her stance, Preity Zinta said that she feels that she is a military child.
“I can’t speak for everyone because people process things differently. Being a military child and coming from the background of an army, these things come closer to my heart, so I am very vocal about how I think I have stopped grit, sweating, blood, tears.
“Have you seen those mothers who give their sons to our country, wives who will never see their husbands smiling again and their father or mothers will never guide those children through life! This is their reality and it will never change despite the opinion or comments of others, so God blesses them all, so God blesses them all,”
