Malayalam superstar Mohanlal turned 65 on Wednesday (May 21), in which social media greeted fans and industry colleagues for heartfelt greetings and birthdays.
Actors, directors and technicians of the Malayalam film industry shared pictures of the actor on their social media handle, wishing birthday.
‘Loleton’, as fans call him with love, are celebrating their 65th birthday based on the success of their recent films ‘L2: Empuraan’ and ‘Thudram’, both allegedly entered a club of Rs 200 crore.

Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan wished an actor through his ‘X’ handle, posted a picture with caption, “Happy birthday dear @mohanlal.” Superstar Mammooty also extended his desires, posting, “Happy Birthday Dear Lal,” and a picture of the two sat together.
“Happy Birthday, Dear Lulta! Love and respect forever and forever,” Wrote on Instagram by actress Manju Warrier.
‘Aadujeevitham’ -Fame Prithviraj Sukumaran, Nivin Pauly, Manufacturer Antony Permbavur, and many others also wished Mohanlal on their special day.
Born on May 21, 1960, Mohanlal has a great film career spread over four decades, featuring more than 400 films in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Hindi and Kannada.
The five -time National Award winner and several state honors recipients, Mohanlal, were awarded the Padma Bhushan by the Government of India in 2019.
To mark his birthday, the actor announced two great initiatives through his Vishwasanthi Foundation.
In a video message posted on Facebook, he said that the Foundation, in collaboration with the Baby Memorial Hospital, would offer liver transplant surgery at a considerable subsidized rates for children of economically weaker sections.

“Many children in Kerala are suffering from liver diseases and require transplantation. The initiative aims to help their families,” he said.
He also launched an anti-digestion of one year called ‘BA Hero’ under the Foundation Age.
Established by Mohanlal in 2015, Vishwasanthi Foundation implements programs centered in healthcare, education and socio-economic development for the underprivileged.
