Established by Durga Venkaten and Sukriti Mahajan in 2024, will present Playhouse Productions from Mumbai Hot bread The second time in the city.
According to Durga, Sukrit is producing Hot bread“We are supporting each other in various departments with our presentations,” says Durga. Hot bread A single piece is written, directed and performed by itself.
Hot bread A documentary of theater-making presents an intimate experience with style. “I consider it an autobiographical task because it comes from a place of my memories, culture, traditions and approaches, which is living in India today as a 27 -year -old woman.”
Durga continues, “I come from Delhi, but my roots are in Tamil Nadu. The story weaves my entire journey, and a dialogue or domestic work, femininity and the kind of apprehensions that I face.
The immersive Peace encourages the participation of the audience, resulting in a shape to perform, Durga says, “We are working with the recording of women across India, which are produced in CDs. During the performance, during the performance, viewers members can play four recording from the library and share their stories on domestic work, and how they are navigating their stories on domestic work.
The direction she takes is based on the recording selected, she says.
Hot bread On May 25, there will be staged at Bangalore International Center (BIC) at 6.30 pm. It is open to people aged 14 and above. Admission free, but registration requires RSVP on BIC site.
