India launched Operation Sindor on 7 May on 7 April as a decisive military response to the Pahgam terror attack in which 26 people were killed. The Indian armed forces targeted terrorist infrastructure in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir, killing more than 100 terrorists associated with terrorist organizations such as Jai-e-Mohammed, Lashar-e-Tabiba and Hizbul Mujahideen.
