Veteran Tamil film actor Rajesh died in Chennai on Thursday 29 May after a sudden heart attack. He was 75 years old. He is alive by his daughter Divya and son Deepak. His wife, Zone Sylvia, had already passed away. The public has been kept at his residence at his residence in Ramapuram, Chennai to pay his honor to the public.
Born on December 20, 1949 in Mannarguri in Thiruvarur district of Tamil Nadu, Rajesh started his career as a school teacher before infection in cinema. He started his screen Aval Oru Thodarakthai (1974), K. Directed by Balchander. His first lead role came Kanaparuathile (1979), Manufactured by Rajnu.
In a career in about five decades, Rajesh acted in more than 150 films in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam. Rajesh was the first Tamil actor to make a bungalow for the purpose of shooting the film near KK Nagar, Chennai in 1985, which was inaugurated by the then Chief Minister MG Ramachandran
Apart from acting, Rajesh was a writer, dubbing artist and television actor. In the latter part of his career, he switched to hotel and real estate business.
Rajesh collaborated with several top directors and actors during his career, which K. Continuous work with Balchander and Kamal Haasan was involved.

The film industry and the personalities of political leaders expressed grief over his death.
Expressing his condolences, Governor RN Ravi said, “Experienced by the passage of experienced Tamil actor Rajesh. His remarkable versatility and attendance enriched Tamil cinema for decades ..”
Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin paid tribute to Rajesh’s mortal remains at his residence, and expressed his condolences to the family of the late actor and friends.
Actor Rajinikanth took for X and wrote, “I am deeply surprised by my close friend, actor Rajesh being untimely passed. It fills me with great grief. He was an extraordinary person, and his soul can rest with peace.”
Kamal Haasan, the actor and founder of Makkal Needi Mime, said that among the talented actors, who have the discovery of knowledge, Mr. Rajesh was the one who read a lot and reflects what he read. “His death lived with enthusiasm and activity till the very end of his life, brings great grief. I expand my senses to my grieved family,” he wrote.
AIADMK General Secretary Edappdi. Palaniswami and Amma Makkal Munnetra Kazgam (AmmK) founder TTV Dhinakaran mourned the death of an experienced actor.
Expressing grief over Rajesh’s death, in his message, Kiri Chairman of Tamil Nadu Congress Committee. Selvaparunntagai said that he can give an ace to complex roles and showcase his acting skills effectively. “His death is a great disadvantage to the film industry,” he wrote in a post on social media platform X.
BJP state president Nanner Nagenthan said, “I pray to God that his soul rests in the shadow of the Lord ..”
Seaman of the name Tamiller Kachi shared that he considered Rajesh as his elder brother, thinking that he had sent some great books and encouraged him to read.
Communist Party of India (Marxist) state secretary Shanmugam said that on behalf of the state executive committee of the party, he expressed his heartfelt condolences on Rajesh’s death.
DMDK President Premlath Vijayakanth said: He always had respect and affection for the captain [Vijayakant]And worked with him in many films. Always acceptable and hot for all, his sudden passing is beyond confidence.
In a hearty message, actor Radhika Sarathkumar said, “Hearing about the unpredictable demise of #Rajesh was deeply shocked and sad. I shared many films with her and always had a deep respect for my huge knowledge of cinema and life ..”
