Model-turn-actress Georgia Andreani is stylish in fitness, fashion and everything. Italian beauty has more than 1.6 million Instagram followers and often shares its updates on social media. She made her Bollywood debut with Shreyas Talpade at Welcome to Bajrangpur, followed by her performance in Karolin Kamakshi (2019) and Martin (2024). In his chat with Zee News Digital, he opened up to work in India, paying equality in Bollywood and much more. Read his special interview here:
Q. How has your experience working in India so far?
One. India has honestly felt like a second house for me. People’s heat, incredible culture and energy of the industry, all this is all very contagious. I have got a chance to work on various projects and cooperate with very emotional, talented people. This is a journey of development, search and endless learning, and I am really grateful to every moment.
Q, Who are your 2 AM friends in Bollywood?
One. I am honestly a bit of an old soul, so I rarely live till 2 o’clock! (Laughing) But I have some very close friends of the industry with whom I can talk about anything at any time. Shahnaz Gill has been like a family for me here. It is very important to have its tribe in this fast-paced world.
Q. There is a huge salary difference between male and female stars. What do you have to say on that?
One. This is an important interaction and one needs to be kept as long as things change. I believe that talent, surrender and ability to draw audiences, should decide the final compensation and not the penis. The industry is slowly developing, and I am taking more women speaking and taking charge, which is very encouraging. But yes, still have to go a long way.
Q. Are you dating someone right now or are you single now?
One. I am happily single and focus on myself and my work. I believe this is such a beautiful time to grow, travel, detect new opportunities and nurture my passion. Love will come when it means, but I am in a relationship with life right now.
Q. Tell us about your upcoming projects
One. I am very excited about what is coming! Some music videos and a film project are in the pipeline. I can’t reveal too much yet, but you will definitely see me very soon!
Q. Your last relationship was very good, what did you learn from it?
One. Every relationship teaches you something about yourself. I think what I have learned is the importance of personal peace, freedom, and to surround yourself with those who really give you importance for you who you are. Life is about developing, and I am grateful to every experience that gives me shape.
Q. What do you have to say on the objective of women in films, especially special dance numbers?
One. It depends on intentions and execution. There is a good line between celebrating femininity and objective of women. I love dance numbers that strengthen and show a woman’s confidence and strength. As an artist, it is important for me to be a part of the work that still respects women while being entertaining. Cinema should be uplifted, no one should reduce in a stereotype.
