Actor Farhan Akhtar celebrated the 10th anniversary of his film ‘Dil Dhadkne Do’ by sharing the moments of the journey from the journey.
A decade after the release of the film, marking a decade, the filmmaker took on social media to reflect laughter, love and unforgettable memories, echoing equally with fans and artists. Taking on Instagram, Akhtar shared a video characteristic of the film scenes and wrote, “Celebrating 10 years of laughter, love and family relationships. #10yearsofdildhedaknedo.”
The family comedy-drama film “Dil Dhadaken Do”, directed by Zoya Akhtar, also acted with a voice-high statement by Abhinar Khan by Anil Kapoor, Sheffli Shah, Priyanka Chopra, Ranveer Singh, Anushka Sharma and Farhan Akhtar. In the 2015 comedy-drama, Farhan Akhtar played the role of Sunny Gill, which was Ayesha’s love interest, depicted by Priyanka Chopra.
The film focuses on an unhappy family that invites its extended relatives and friends on the 10-day cruise to celebrate the parents’ 30th wedding anniversary, leading to the moments of struggle and final harmony.
Anil Kapoor, who portrayed Kamal Mehra, also took on Instagram to mark the milestone of the film. In his post, he described the film as one that only increases young, which leads to our heart’s race with every view. Sharing a string of paintings from the shooting of the film, The Animal actor wrote, “Can’t believe that it is 10 -year -old heart Dhadken Do – a film that only brings our hearts beats every time, every time it decreases.
Many people are not aware that Zoya Akhtar originally conceived the film as a family drama focusing on the bond between a brother and sister. His purpose was to portray a real brother -in -law’s relationship, often away from exaggerated and unrealistic illustrations seen in Bollywood. He later collaborated with his close friend and consistent partner Reema Kagti to develop the script, while Farhan Akhtar prepared the dialogues.
On 5 June 2015, ‘Dil Dhadkane Do’ was released in theaters.
