Mumbai: Veteran actress Padmini Kolhapur recently opened up about her niece, Shraddha Kapoor’s thoughtful approach, when film roles are selected. According to Padmini, ‘Stri’ actress does not decide in isolation; Instead, she consider careful advice to her close family members before finalizing her choice. Speaking to IANS, Padmini shared that Shraddha often discusses possible projects with her mother, Shivangi Kolhapur; Sister, Tejaswini, Father Shakti Kapoor, and even Padmini.
The senior actress mentioned that this collective support system helps the young actress weigh the professionals and oppositions of each opportunity, ensuring that she makes a well informed decision that align with her career goals and personal values. Padmini revealed that despite taking input from her family, Shraddha eventually rely on her tendency. The ‘Vidhata’ actress shared, “Salah, Shraddha discussed in this sense. Asked about his vision to support his son, who started in the 2019 film ‘Sab Kushal Mangal’, the veteran star revealed that his family never pushed him into acting. Instead, he encouraged his real interest by preparing it for the difficult realities of the industry. “The film surfaced in 2019, and then covid, so things came to a standstill for her,” she said. “My husband is a producer, I am an actress, but we never had those specific dreams of forcing her to be an actor.
He gradually showed interest, and we supported him. Padmini emphasized the importance of freedom and hard work, sharing that her son was sent to Strassburg to understand the challenges beyond glamor.
“I keep telling him that this job is not easy. It is blood, sweat and tears,” he commented, mentioned his own experiences and hard work seen from other actors like Shah Rukh Khan and Anil Kapoor.
