New Delhi: The murder of Raja Raghuvanshi, a resident of Indore during his honeymoon in Meghalaya, has taken a disturbed turn as his wife, Sonam Raghuvanshi has been arrested for staging the crime. According to IANS, he surrendered to the police in Gazipur, Uttar Pradesh late on Sunday after intense pressure from the officials.
The couple, who tied the knot in Madhya Pradesh a few days ago, traveled to Meghalaya to celebrate their honeymoon to report the disappearance on 23 May. Sadly, the king’s body was discovered on 2 June near Weisavadong Falls.
After increasing pressure, Sonam surrendered at Nandganj police station in Gazipur, Uttar Pradesh late on Sunday night, as confirmed by the Meghalaya Police. Officials claim that she had conspired to kill the killers to allegedly kill her husband.

Meanwhile, the actress from the actress Kangana Ranaut strongly reacted to the incident on Instagram, criticized Sonam’s alleged tasks and called her ‘dumb’.
Expressing mistrust, Kangana wrote, “How absurd this is !! The woman cannot say for marriage because she is afraid of her parents, but she can plan a cold blood to kill a cold blood with betel nuts. It is in my mind since morning, but not able to wrap my head around it !!!
He added, “Dumb people should never be taken lightly, they are the biggest threat to any society … we often laugh at them and think that they are harmless, but this is not true, intelligent people can harm others for their good, but remember that a dumb person does not know what they are doing !!!
