Just a few days before his release, Sitare land crosses have to face a delay as Aamir Khan refused to accept CBFC’s proposed deduction, with hopes to a proposal to date.
New Delhi: Fans have already waited for the Aamir Khan starrer Sitar Sitare land crossing the land after fans and author Sudha Muriti recently attended a special screening of the film and addressing it in a special social issue and to touch it deeply and paint it deeply.
However, now the film may face an unexpected obstacle, just a few days before its release.
According to the report of Bollywood Hungama, CBFC (Central Board of Film Certification proposes that the film gets some cuts.
However, actor and film producer Aamir Khan has also rejected with these deductions. A sutra, which has no information about the cuts asked, said to Bollywood Hungama, “CBFC has asked for two cuts. Aamir Khan feels that the film should be passed without these deductions. He and director RS Prasanna made the film with great consideration. Some scenes and dialogues, when seen in context, seems to be completely appropriate.”
The source then said, “Aamir Khan did not accept the deduction, the sensor certificate was not honored with the Sitar land cross.”
Aamir, on the other hand, plans to meet CBFC on Monday i.e. on 16 June, “Hope, a solution will be achieved and the CBFC will pass the film on 16 June. Once it happens, the advance booking of the film will be thrown openly. According to the rules, the cinemas can not sell the tickets in the absence of a sensor certificate,” the source said.

The sets for release in theaters on 20 June 2025 are written by Amitabh Bhattacharya, and music is composed by Shankar-Ehsan-Low. The screenplay is written by Divya Nidhi Sharma. The film is produced by Aamir Khan and Aparna Purohit, in which B. Shrinavas Rao and Ravi Bhagchandka are producers.
