Mumbai: The much awaited film ‘Border 2’ has entered his third program at Pune’s prestigious National Defense Academy (NDA), in which actors Diljit Dosanj and Ahaan Shetty Sunny Dol and Varun Dhawan have joined the artists.
The film directed by Anurag Singh and supported by a stellar production team promises to be an epic continuity of heritage founded by the original ‘Border’.
Sunny Deol shared an exciting update on social media, in which a picture was posted with Diljit, Varun and Ahaan.
The image also included filmmakers Nidi Dutta and Bhushan Kumar.
In his Instagram caption, Deol wrote, “When all ‘force’ comes together!
Sunny further said, “On-ground, they have joined the producers Bhushan Kumar and Nidhi Dutta, director Anurag Singh, co-producers Shiv Chanana and Binoy Gandhi, as the film pursues the full throttle!
The upcoming sequel to the 1997 blockbuster ‘Border’ has a powerhouse production team, which includes Bhushan Kumar, Krishna Kumar, JP Dutta and Neel Dutta.
Gulshan Kumar’s T-series JP Dutta’s film presents the film with JP films.
The production of Border 2 also attracted attention from Uttarakhand’s Film Development Council.
On 20 May, Banshidhar Tiwari, CEO of Uttarakhand Film Development Council, visited the set in Halduwala place in Dehradun, where the film was shooting.
During their conversation, Tiwari and Deol discussed the support of the state’s film policy, diversity of places, and the support provided by the Uttarakhand government to promote the development of the film industry.
Tiwari praised the positive atmosphere found in the state, stating, “The type of positive and comfortable environment here makes the state a strong destination to make the state a strong destination.”
‘Border 2’ will be a hit in theaters on 23 January 2026. The sequel has already created important discussion, especially with her stellar artists, Sunny Deol included her prestigious role, Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh, and Ahaan Shetty.
