Sunny Deol’s Border 2 Grows up with Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanj, and Ahaan Shetty

Actors Diljit Dosanjh and Ahaan Shetty have joined Sunny Deol and Varun Dhawan for the third program of their upcoming film “Border 2” at the National Defense Academy of Pune.

Sunny took to Instagram, where she shared a picture with actors Diljit, Varun and Ahaan. He joined filmmakers Nipi Dutta and Bhushan Kumar.

For the caption, he wrote: “When all ‘force’ comes together!

Sunny said: “On-ground, she has joined by producer Bhushan Kumar and Nidhi Dutta, director Anurag Singh, co-producers Shiv Chanana and Binoy Gandhi, as the film pursues full throttle! Mark their calendar: Border 2 Hit Theater on 23 January 2026!”

Supported by a powerful production team, including Bhushan Kumar, Krishna Kumar, JP Dutta, and Raha Dutta, and directed by Anurag Singh, Border 2 is presented by Gulshan Kumar & T-series in collaboration with JP Dutta’s JP films.

The sequel to the 1997 Battle drama “Border”, the film is considered based on the 1999 Kargil war of India and Pakistan.

For unaffected, Pakistani troops infiltrated the Line of Control (LOC) and mostly captured Indian territory in Kargil district. India responded by starting a major military and diplomatic aggressive to take out Pakistani intruders.

Presented by Gulshan Kumar’s T-series, JP Dutta’s JP films, “Border 2” is likely to be released in theaters on 23 January, 2026.

Talking about Sunny, on 20 May, he met Uttarakhand film authorities on the ‘Border 2’ set.

The meeting was held at Halduwala place in Dehradun, where a large -scale war has been created for his upcoming film Border 2. This interaction exposes increasing cooperation between the film industry and the state government to promote Uttarakhand as a major center for filmmaking.

Council CEO Bansidhi Tiwari, Joint CEO Dr. Along with Nitin Upadhyay, met the actor and director Anurag Singh.

A source close to Vikas revealed that the team discussed Uttarakhand’s progressive film policy, rich diversity of shooting places and continuous support of the state government to filmmakers.
