Aamir Khan’s firm Stand has highly praised the Multiplex Association of India (MAI) for the big screen, which welcomed the superstar’s decision to release the ‘Sitare Zameen Paar’ in theaters, especially in theaters. The organization has described it as a “visionary” step that confirms confidence in dramatic story telling at one time when streaming platforms are becoming increasingly ideal.
The latest venture of Khan, a spiritual successor of the 2007 classic ‘Taare Zameen Paar’, is ready to hit theaters on June 20, which continues its legacy of emotionally echoing and socially conscious cinema.
Mai praised Aamir Khan
MAI- Representing 11 cinema chains across the country and more than 2,500 screens, issued a statement, praising Aamir’s choice for embracing a dramatic-relief strategy. It called the gesture a “powerful message” that theaters have remained in the hearts of communal story experiences.
“Aamir Khan has always been a filmmaker who puts the audience first. His decision to bring ‘Sitare Zamin Paar’ especially in theaters is an important performance of faith in theaters and a significant performance of shared magic of film experience. Indian exhibitions thanked Amir Khan for standing by theaters,” said the chairman of Mai.
He said, “As we continue to welcome the audience with fresh energy and world class films, ‘Sitare Zameen Paar’ will remain a bright example of the flexibility of cinema and its irreparable magic.”
CEO of Cinepolis India, Devung Sampat, echoed Bhavna, given that the decision is beyond the simple box office economics-it indicates confidence in the long-term strength of cinema as a format.
