New Delhi: After a lot of anticipation, Aamir Khan’s ‘Sitare Zameen Paar’ caught the big screen on Friday, returning to superstar films after a brief interval. Directed by RS Prasanna, the heart-wrenching sports drama co-star Janelia Deshmukh and 10 fresh young talents. After a decent inauguration, the film continued its stable streak at the box office on day 2.
According to industry tracker Sacnilk.com, ‘Sitare Zameen Paar’ earned of 10.28 crores on Saturday, 21 June, making its two -day India a total of ₹ 21.35 crore. On its release day, the film already. 11.07 crore was collected.
On its second day, ‘Sitare Zamin Paar’ raked for 10.28 crores, which took the total collection to ₹ 20 crore worldwide, coming from ₹ 7.15 crore from foreign markets.

‘Sitaare zameen par’ occupancy rate
On Saturday, the data of occupancy showed promising traction, showing the average of 22.43% occupancy rate with Hindi. Allegedly, the Tamil version went up to 25.20%, while Telugu saw a total of 17.42%. The morning show watched 13% of the occupancy, which increased by 31.86% in the afternoon. The figures of the evening show have not been updated yet.
‘Sitare Zameen Paar’ plot
‘Sitare Zameen Paar’ follows a person’s visit by Aamir, who becomes a basketball coach for a group of children with learning inability. The film’s emotional core lies in its message of acceptance, firmness and self-values, which makes it a spiritual successor for Khan’s 2007 classic ‘Taare Zameen Paar’. In particular, the film is an official conversion of the Spanish film Campon.
A contingent of the newcomers of the newcomers includes Arosh Dutta, Gopi Krishna Verma, Samvit Desai, Vedanta Sharma, and others – each bring authenticity to the roles that emotionally anchor the film.
