New Delhi: The Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) expressed the strongest condemnation and resentment against actors-threaded Diljit Dosanj, Ganbir Singh Sidhu, Manmord Sidhu and director Amar Hunder, for Pakistani actress Hania Aamir in his upcoming film ‘Serotarji 3’.
In the light of the incident, FWICE makes a straight and immediate appeal to the Prime Minister, Home Minister, Foreign Minister, and Information and Broadcasting Minister of India, which according to an official statement to take strict and immediate action against Diljit Dosanj, Ganbir Singh Sidhu, Manmord Sidu and Director Amar Hundal.
In a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, FWICE wrote, “Hum, the incomplete office bearrs of the Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) represent the scores of dedicated workers, who produce the backbone of the film and television industry of India, which is considered deep outrage and uniquely guilty for our country.”
“Daljit Dosanjh, Gunbir Singh Sidhu, Manmord Sidhu and director Amar Hundy, who are enjoying the privileges of public personality Indian citizenship, have done an inaccurate task to hire Pakistani actress Ms. Honey Aamir in his upcoming film ‘Soded G3’. Dignity, and India’s safety,” reads, and read further.
“Hania Aamir is not just a foreign artist. She is an outspoken pracharak against India who has used her platform to make fun of our armed forces, abuse India publicly, and shamelessly justified Operation Sindoor after Pakistan’s terrorist acts.
“Ms. Hania Aamir, time and again, has misused her platform to spread poison against India, glorify terrorist forces, reduce our armed forces and make fun of our national tragedies. Its association with any Indian project is not only insensitive – it is a task of open rage against our people and our country, it is a task of opening up.
“That Daljit Dosanjh, Ganbir Singh Sidhu, Manmord Sidhu and director Amar Hundar are fully aware of their background and have been selected to cast them, expecting the instructions and industry-wide sanctions of the official government, which their workers have convicted them. Our boundaries, every family, are standing below, every citizen, and every citizen who has been standing in the Indian flag It is that the Government of India considers it as a serious violation.
According to the press release, “We respectfully urge that their passports can be canceled without delay, and permanently stop them from taking advantage of any rights, privileges, or representation related to Indian citizenship and national identity.”
This is not only a direct disregard of the official ban of FWIS on Pakistani artists, but is also an embarrassing betrayal for our country and its people, especially at a time when our nation is mourning the brutal killing of innocent Indian tourists in Pahgam by Pakistan-supported terrorists.
Diljit Dosanj, Gunbir Singh Sidhu, Manmord Sidhu and director Amar Hundal moved forward despite being fully aware of these facts and FWICE instructions and hired the person. “His actions clearly reveal where his loyalty is a lie – not with India, not with Indian cinema, and of course not with the people of this country,” he said.
The FWIC contacted the release of the film in India and a complete ban on denying the sensor certification, contacting the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting and the Central Board of Film Certification. We are thankful that the authorities have respected our stance and the sentiments of millions of Indians and have officially refused to allow the film to be released on Indian land.
According to the press release, “Let it work as a final and harsh warning: Any Indian filmmaker or artist collaborating with Pakistani citizens will be considered complicated in promoting anti-India stories.”
“Now we urge and hope that all producers across the country across the country immediately to separate all relations with Daljeet Dosam, Ganbir Singh Sidhu, and director Amar Hundal to separate all the producers, film associations, OTT platforms, and distributors. For national solidarity, for national solidarity.
FWIC has sent a letter to the Chairperson, Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC), “The film ‘Sardarji 3’ is to stop the certification of ‘Sardarji 3’ which includes Pakistani artists.”
The dispute is in view of the initiative terrorist attack on 22 April, followed by Operation Sindoor on 7 May, in which airstrikes were carried out on terrorist bases in Pakistan and Pakistan -occupied Kashmir. Many Pakistani artists including Hania Aamir did not make their social media accounts accessible after the Gustali Pahalgam attack in India.
Meanwhile, sharing the trailer of the horror-comedy franchise on its Instagram on Monday, Diljit announced that the film would be specially released abroad on 27 June.
Diljit captioned the trailer post: “Sardar ji was released only abroad on June 2 on 27. Fad Lao Bhond Dion Lattan.”
The actor’s social media platform’s commentary section quickly turned into a storm of angry reactions, the Indian Neti, amidst the tension between the two countries, expressed his disappointment over his decision to work with the Pakistani artist. The trailer of ‘Sardaar Ji 3’ is not currently on YouTube India, but has been shared by Diljit on his Instagram page.
