Announcing the journey on social media, Vishnu Manchu had said, “I really have to accept one thing. Before starting work on ‘Kannappa’, I was not such a great devotee of Lord Shiva. I was a devotee of Lord Hanuman and I used to recite Hanuman Chalisa every day. I came to know what Jyothrilling was and why someone should go to them, I decided to go to all these 12 holy places.
The actor explained. “Many people don’t know what these jyothirlingas are. I also did not know their importance till some time ago. Therefore, for people like me who do not know about Jyothirlingas, I have decided to do a series of videos on jyothirlingas.”
The actor then went to explain different beliefs in different ages. “Now we are in Kali Yuga. In Satyayuga, the belief was that if someone does penance, then anyone can get closer to God. Then the belief was that meditation would help you feel the purpose of your life. Now, in Kali Yuga, the belief is that if you go to holy places, you will not only come close to God, but will also know the purpose behind your birth. ,
“These 12 jyothirlingas are powerful places. This place is a testimony to the fact that Lord Shiva moves among the common people. From Kedarnath to Rameswaram, there are 12 geotoring across the country. There is a story behind each story. I want to visit every jyothirlingas. The belief is that one of one of the 12 jyothirlingas will be able to feel someone’s life purpose. Today, my aim of life is to become an actor until I die. But what is the high purpose of my life? 12 This journey of Jyothirlingas is a journey of self-interview for me. I have already visited three geotharling – Kedarnath, Omkareshwar and Ujjain. I will tell about these three temples in my next video. I will also tell the story of all Jyothirlingas before meeting him, ”he then said.
