Sonakshi Sinha was released out of Sardar 2’s son: ‘No big deal’

Mumbai: Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha, who starred with Ajay Devgan in the 2012 hit ‘Son of Sardar’, addressed her absence from the son of the upcoming sequel, ‘Sardar 2’.

Speaking to IANS, Akira actress said that such casting decisions are a common part of the industry and there is nothing. Talking about not being part of the next installment, Sonakshi said that the story is likely to take a different direction with new characters, and she is fully respected. He said, “It is understandable that the story will be something else. The characters will not be the same. And it is completely appropriate,” he commented.

Sinha shared that she had increased to understand the dynamics of filmmaking. “I think as a professional. We have worked in the industry for so many years. We understand all these things. It’s a small thing, not a big thing. It does not affect me at all.”

In the lead roles with Ajay Devgan, Sanjay Dutt and Juhi Chawla, ‘son of Sardar’ directed by Ashwani Dhir, starred Sonakshi. Romantic Comedy, 2010 Telugu film Merida Ramna’s remake, it was released on 13 November 2012.

The upcoming sequel Ajay and Mrinal Thakur have been included in the lead roles. Stunned by Vijay Kumar Arora, the upcoming installment comes after about 12 years of Sardar’s original son. The sequel is set for a box-office clash with “Param Sundari”, starring Siddharth Malhotra and Janhvi Kapoor.

In the upcoming sequel, supported by Jio Studios, Devgn Films, and T-Series, Sanjay Dutt is ready to resume his role as Don, while Sanjay Mishra will step into a role in the beginning that was initially planned for Vijay Raaz, which was originally played by Ravi Kishan in the first film.
