Rao told reporters at the trailer launch of “Malik”, “As an actor, there is always a hunger to do new and challenging roles. I am happy that ‘Malik’ came in my way. I enjoyed being a part of it.”

“We always hope as actors that people remember our character, and we know from our character. I am excited about this film. We have all given our 100 percent. It is a period of drama, there is dialogue, etc.
“It is a commercial film, but with aesthetics, as well as realism, and it has a lot of entertainment factors. The 40 -year -old actor said that he fully rely on the script to essay his director’s vision and script.
“It was all imagination, and the world that Pulkit had created through his writing. Also, whatever we have seen on TV, inspiration from real people (came), and a lot of things came from within, such as you start getting body language, voice, etc.” On a question about the portrayal of violence in films, Rao said, “As long as the story and character are good, and this is a well -made film, I have no objection. As long as it is not uncomfortable, I am a fan of action style.” “Maalik” also stars Manushi Chhil, Saurabh Shukla, Saurabh Sachdeva, Prosecut Chatterjee and Swanand Kirkire.
Chatterjee, who appeared in series like Hindi films and “Shanghai” and “Jubilee”, said he did not want to miss the opportunity to work with Rao, which he referred to as his younger brother.
“I was not expecting anything like ‘Malik’. I received a call for this film, and I met the director, and I was surprised by his passion. Who wanted to remember the opportunity to work with his younger brother (Rao), who is proud of us as an actor! He is a big star. Also, I did not want to miss the opportunity to work with this team,”
Rao said that he was fully enjoyed working with Chatterjee, which he lovingly referred to as Bumba da.
“I have heard that many people say good things about working with him. He is unprecedentedly talented. As a person, he is a beautiful soul, when we are working with someone, we see the same.
“I am happy that he said yes to this role because it is a character that many people have not seen him playing. I am excited to see him in this avatar. Bumba da has added a temper to his character, and it is beautiful.” Chiller said that he is grateful to the director for offering his De-Glam role in “Maalik”. She plays Rao’s love Ruchi Shalini.
