Shanaya Kapoor, a theater artist, steps into Saba’s shoes, marking its first appearance on the big screen. The film also features Wickran Massey as a blind musician. Their delicate, emotional chemistry creates the soul of the trailer and has already created the interest of fans and cinefiles equally.
The story takes inspiration from Ruskin Bond’s favorite short story ‘The Eyes Have It’ and promises a hearty story in vulnerability, longing and connection.

Shanaya on her first film
Opening about her experience, Shanaya said, “It has been the most beautiful and challenging experience of my life to play this role. I could not say for a better start. Working with Vikrant has been such a learning experience – he has been very helpful throughout the time.
He also shared earlier, “This film has been an incredibly emotional journey for me. Being on the set with such a wonderful director, Santosh sir, and a talented artists like Vikrant made it more special, their support and energy brought so much heart in this process.”
Mustyon’s Gustakhyana, directed by Santosh Singh and produced by Mansi and Varun Bagla under the banner of Zee Studios and Mini films, is set for a dramatic release on 11 July 2025. The film not only promises to give a fresh pair, but also a story how Prem is seen.
