A man spends seven lifesies chasing the same woman. In every era, a smokey jazz club of the 1950s, and a Neon-Lit from the 1980s road, in the 70s, from a fleeting moment, he comes closer to love, only to die before he dies. By the end, in 2025, they find each other and make it. It is ‘everythingless without you’ (Eswy), the basis of a style-defined music video that looks like a short film, combines rebirth and romance.
The track is the brainchild of the manufacturer, lyricist and singer Aman Sagar, who brings the story and Melody together in this ambitious project. Directed by Yuvrajago and recited by Javed Jaffrey, the video has Sanjita Bhattacharya in several avatars, each of which marks a separate decade, lifetime and heartbreak.
Manufactured by Molfa Music and Jugad Motion Pictures, ‘SV’ performed unique theater screening in Mumbai and Thiruvananthapuram before dropping online, rarity for indie music videos.
We caught a Mumbai phone call with Aman and Sanjita, where he talked about creating a love story in lifetime, bending formats, and why ‘everything is useless without you’ could be something big.
Story behind the title
Eswy – Quite a secret title! “Sanjita says that Aman and Sanjita asked how this name came.” Like I started singing, it was like a friend, a companion, someone who used to be there. At that moment, I said, ‘I will do everything without you.’ That line bus got stuck. “I saved this project as a asc, everything is useless without you,” says Aman. There was something complicated about the brief name. People saw it on the poster and kept guessing what it means. We liked that feeling. ,
The story -led story of the video was prepared by the team at the Jugad Motion Pictures, which also included director Yuvrajago. “We have seen rebirth in Hollywood and Indian cinema,” Aman says, “but we wanted to offer a fresh – not melodramatic, but poetic and contemplative.”
Sanjita said, “What I was attracted to the story, it was despite the concerted concept. The characters feel real, and each era has its own taste.”
The music mixes the pop with a touch of ‘SV’ hip-hop, indie sole and micro-classical elements. “I have been listening to a lot of alternative hip-hop recently,” Aman explains. “I tried to bring into this track, with elements of indie and soul.”
Both artists agree that ‘SV’ has a emotional core craving. Aman says, “It is about remembering someone who has a deep emotional power on you.”
Sanjita says, “This is not just heartbreaking.” “This is the one who is a feeling of recognizing a soul that you know earlier and are not able to catch them … again.”
Creative cooperation
This is not the first time Aman and Sanjita have worked together. “We have probably done more than a hundred shows together in the last few years,” Aman says. “Now we understand each other so well, we do not need to explain much.”
Sanjita agrees. “Even when we were in different countries – Aman was in Boston, I was in India – it was easy to cooperate. I would send him an idea, and he would turn it into some magical. He has that instinct.”
He helped Aman in his acting in the video. “He was new to acting, but he was open and honest. We worked together the scenes together, and it was fun.”
‘Everything is useless without you’ is part of a large seven-song EP which will be released on 7 July. Aman and Sanjita will live it live on July 5 at The All You Can (AYC) Festival in Mumbai on 5 July. Aman says, “I will play my entire album.” “And Sanjita will join me for some songs on stage.”

Both artists are an alumnus of Barkli College of Music. While they are grateful to exposure and network, they provide this, they live in their creative freedom.
Sanjita says, “I give a lot for Barkli.” “It expanded my understanding of styles. I had never heard of Bosa Nova or some Jazz styles before that.
Aman says, “For me, Barkali was not just about learning music, it taught me how to cooperate, how to live around creative people. I am grateful to I got to study there for four years.”
So where do they see their music? “I am not to break the industry in Mumbai or do formula items,” Aman says. “I just want to talk about myself. If it arises, great, but I am not chasing the trends.”
Sanjita, who acts (appeared in Shahrukh Khan ( young), Singing, and dancing, calling itself a multi -woller artist. “It is exciting to find new art forms, and I am having fun to find out how they can come together, for example, in something like ‘Asci’. I just want to work that feels authentic.”
(Aman and Sanjita will perform live on all the festival in Mumbai on 5 July)
