Mumbai: After release in theaters on 25 July, the release date of Ajay Devgan’s much awaited film ‘Son of Sarda 2’ was postponed.
The manufacturers dropped a new poster, stating, “Laughter riot got just a new date. Sardar 2’s son will now be released in theaters on 1 August 2025 worldwide.”

After the announcement, many took into the comment section and asked about the reason for the delay with the comment, while another comment, “Why delay”.
Recently, the makers unveiled the trailer of the film. The two-minute and fifty-second trailer begins with some popular scenes of its prequel, which harasses Ajay Devgan in a Punjabi village due to bad relations between his ancestors.
This time, Ajay Devgan has gone to Scotland and is in another trouble, when he decided to help Rosi Walia to become his Sikh parents, with his love partner Mrinal Thakur, to tie his wedding knot with the love of his life.

Vindu Dara Singh packed good one-liners in the trailer, while the character of the late actor Mukul Dev in the film becomes an indifferent when Ravi Kishan taunted him to speak good English.
The actor’s character in the prequel was prominently due to lack of understanding the Panch Panch English language.
While sharing the trailer, Ajay wrote, “Action! Emotions! Bhandar of confusion. Jassi has come back, and this time everything is double!”

The film was known for a mixture of humor, action and romance. While it received mixed reviews, it was praised for its lively performance and attractive soundtrack.
