Create sons, duty-bounder, and aggrieved mothers to confuse Hindi cinema. This week, emerging director Kayoz Iranian reveals familiar daddy issues with mixed results. Sarzmin The original basis reminds me of Ramesh Sippy PowerWhere circumstances forces a father to choose a father between his son (Ibrahim Ali Khan) and his duty in uniform (Prithviraj Sukumaran).

Set in the picturesque political vase of Kashmir, the bets become high here when the neglected son makes his way into the enemy camp led by the dreaded terrorist Kaabil (KC Shankar). As expected, the mother (Kajol) tries to become a connecting link, but a past that needs to be addressed is not left without anyone, which makes the wounds unresolved.
Sarzmin (hindi)
Director: Kayoz Irani
Mold: Prithviraj Sukumaran, Kajol, Ibrahim Ali Khan, KC Shankar
Duration: 137 minutes
Story: To eliminate extremism in the Kashmir Valley, an army officer finds himself in a vortex where his principles are kept for testing
After preparing the audience for a realistic terrain, Iranian takes the leap of the mainstream of faith, descends into any man’s land. The film attempts to detect paternity, patriotism and extremism, but fails to effectively integrate the individual within complex socio-political mobility, instead resorts trops that have become clicht due to over-use.
It seems that the manufacturers determined to map the complexity of extremism in the Kashmir Valley through an individual story, but ended to create a safe product to populate the OTT shelf. Therefore, the play does not jump on you, the struggle does not enable you enough, does not catch a suspension of mistrust, and layers in the story do not add to create an emotional cheerful.

Prithviraj and Kajol create an interesting screen pair. However, despite their immense talent, their chemistry does not click, and the melodrama decreases. Shankar is not an unusual Puri to take revenge. For a script, which demands a deep emotional commitment, Ibrahim Ali Khan has been weakened like a film.
