New Delhi: Power star Pawan Kalyan’s long-awaited historical action-drama Hari Hara Veera Mallu finally hit theaters on 24 July, which led to significant discussion and high expectations. Directed by Krisha Jagalamudi and M Jyoti Krishna, the film mixes elements of folklore, action and political resistance, against the grandeur of India of the 17th century.
Upon its release, the film opened equally to neccessful reviews of netizenses and critics, some praised its ambitious scale and commanding appearance of welfare, while others indicated story discrepancies and pacing issues. Despite the divided reception, the film hit a raga with the actor’s fans and performed firmly at the box office.
According to initial estimates by industry tracker Sacnilk, Hari Hara Veera Mallu has succeeded in an impressive rupee of Rs 56 crore in just two days of his dramatic run. Day 1 (Thursday) Alone, the film earned around Rs 41 crore, with Andhra Pradesh and Telangana to Andhra Pradesh and Telangana Rs 37 crore. The total earnings so far with the lion’s stake are Rs 56 crore, with Rs 50.5 crore coming from the Telugu states. The film also recorded remarkable earnings in parts of Karnataka and Tamil Nadu, indicating a solid start and confirming the strong box office bridge of Pawan Kalyan in the south.

Set in the mid -1600s during the Mughal Empire’s reign, Hari Hara Veera Mallu gave history to the visit of a rebel warrior, who takes the oppressive rule of the Mughals to protect the rights and dignity of the common people in the kingdom of Kollur. Kalyan Titular character plays the role of a courageous and skilled fighter, who becomes a symbol of hope for the underprivileged. The story is around a adventurous heir to Koh-e-Noor Diamond, which adds a thrilling turn to the historical story.
The film also showed Bobby Deol in a powerful role as Emperor Aurangzeb, which brings a great appearance on the screen as the opponent. Actress Rahahi Egrawal played the role of a female lead, which connects both grace and emotional weight to the story. The dress helps artists to bring in a story contained in resistance, rebellion and sacrifice.
Hari Hara Veera Mallu’s main attraction is its music, composed by the famous MM Kerwani, who won the global praise for his work on RRR.
Although it remains to be seen how the film performs in the coming days, a strong starting box office response shows that Hari Hara Veera Mallu may emerge as a commercial success.
