New Delhi: Under the direction of Mohit Suri, Venture Siara, starring Debut Ahaan Pandey and Anit Padda, has worked at the box office from the storm. The romantic musical drama has not only crossed a milestone of Rs 200 crore, but is now close to a mark of Rs 300 crore.
The film, which was opened for strong critical and appreciation to the audience, has also secured a place in the top 10 highest opening weekends of 2025.
Mohit Suri remembered casting eetter status
In an interview with Instant Bollywood recently, director Mohit Suri shared a clear anecdote about her first meeting with prominent actress Anit Padda.
“Anit also came to me in my office, dressed some clothes that were completely away from my character, a yellow dress, and the first thing I said ‘What are you wearing?’ She was very bad when she was meeting me.
He said, “Then I call the ante and I said, you know, when you have a problem in thinking that I like something, please come to what you think, and he came in a white shirt and jeans the next day and I was so, it is.”
Referring to the trailer, Suri said, “This, if you notice the trail, R is a kurta and jeans -like look, which is its lost and clumsy, and that is that”

Suri also touched the issue of a comprehensive industry. “You know, I think it’s a huge burden, people think they say what you want, and it’s not what I think is looking for a filmmaker”
